Single-business commercial license
These terms explain how a purchaser may use, customize, and deliver the Senior Home Safety Service Toolkit while protecting the reusable source materials from resale or unauthorized distribution. By downloading, accessing, copying, editing, or using the toolkit, the purchaser accepts these terms. Rights that cannot legally be excluded or limited remain unaffected.

1. License grant
The product owner or authorized distributor grants the purchaser a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the Senior Home Safety Service Toolkit for the internal operations of one purchasing business entity.
Employees and independent contractors may use the files only while performing work for that purchasing business, under its supervision, and subject to these terms. Separate businesses, franchisees, locations operating as separate legal entities, consultants serving multiple businesses, and third parties require their own license unless written permission is provided.
2. Permitted uses
- Download and store reasonable working and backup copies for the licensed business.
- Add the licensed business name, logo, contact details, pricing, policies, service area, and client-specific information.
- Modify wording to match the licensed business services, qualifications, jurisdiction, and client situation.
- Use customized client-facing forms, reports, proposals, and communications with the licensed business’s own clients.
- Use calculators, libraries, builders, completed examples, summaries, and tracking tools for internal business operations.
- Print client and internal working copies and export customized documents to PDF.
- Provide a completed client-specific output to the client for whom it was created.
3. Prohibited uses
- Resell, rent, sublicense, assign, gift, publish, distribute, or share original or modified source files.
- Upload the toolkit to shared template libraries, public drives, membership sites, marketplaces, file-sharing services, AI training datasets, or repositories accessible to other businesses.
- Sell or distribute substantially similar templates, checklists, spreadsheets, reports, recommendation libraries, workflow systems, or derivative products based on the toolkit.
- Use the toolkit to build a competing software product, course, certification, template bundle, prompt pack, agency deliverable library, or white-label product.
- Remove or alter the license in a way that suggests unrestricted redistribution rights.
- Use the Miller Family completed example as a real client record or send it to actual clients.
- Use the toolkit in connection with unlawful, deceptive, unlicensed, uninsured, or professionally unauthorized services.
4. Ownership and intellectual property
The toolkit, its original text, structure, worksheets, formulas, layouts, examples, workflow, recommendation library, and source files remain the intellectual property of the product owner and its licensors. The purchaser receives usage rights only; ownership is not transferred.
The purchaser retains ownership of its own logo, business information, client data, original photographs, and original content added to the files. Client-specific completed documents may be provided to the relevant client, but reusable source templates and internal systems may not be transferred.
5. Client data, privacy, and security
The purchaser is solely responsible for collecting, storing, using, transmitting, and deleting client information, photographs, signatures, property details, and other personal data in accordance with applicable privacy, confidentiality, record-retention, and data-security requirements.
- Use separate client folders and restrict access to authorized personnel.
- Obtain appropriate permission before taking, storing, or sharing photographs.
- Do not place real client information in public examples, demonstrations, or support requests.
- Use secure storage, backups, passwords, and transmission methods appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
6. Professional responsibility
The toolkit supports visual, non-invasive home walkthroughs, business documentation, estimating, proposals, and follow-up. It does not provide or replace medical, clinical, occupational therapy, physical therapy, engineering, structural, building-code, electrical, plumbing, legal, tax, insurance, licensed home inspection, or other regulated professional services.
The purchaser is solely responsible for deciding whether to offer a service or work item; confirming qualifications, licensing, insurance, permits, local requirements, product instructions, measurements, concealed conditions, subcontractors, taxes, pricing, and contract terms; and referring work to appropriately qualified professionals when required.
No safety certification
The toolkit does not certify that a home is safe, code-compliant, accessible, or free from hazards. It does not guarantee the prevention of falls, injuries, losses, delays, or other events.
7. No warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the toolkit is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, non-infringement, compatibility, uninterrupted operation, commercial results, or suitability for any client, property, service, jurisdiction, or device.
The purchaser must review and test all files before use. Software, operating systems, PDF viewers, spreadsheet applications, laws, standards, product requirements, and local practices may change.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the product owner and its licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, clients, data, reputation, opportunities, or business; property damage; personal injury; professional claims; or costs arising from use, inability to use, modification, interpretation, or distribution of the toolkit.
Where liability cannot be excluded, aggregate liability relating to the toolkit will not exceed the amount actually paid by the purchaser for the toolkit, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
9. Updates, support, and refunds
The purchase does not include future updates, customization, consulting, legal review, technical support, or additional files unless expressly stated in the product listing or purchase confirmation. Refunds and cancellations are handled according to the published Refund Policy, checkout terms, and applicable law.
10. Termination
The license terminates automatically if the purchaser materially breaches these terms. After termination, the purchaser must stop using and distributing the source files and delete unauthorized copies. Client-specific documents lawfully delivered before termination may remain with the relevant clients.
11. General terms
- If any provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
- Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of that provision.
- These terms operate together with the product listing, checkout terms, privacy policy, refund policy, and written license confirmation.
- Mandatory consumer and statutory rights under applicable law are not excluded.
- Questions about a specific legal situation should be directed to a qualified legal professional.
